Grace in Small Things...

So I'm altering my GIST a bit -- instead of feeling guilty for not getting to it every day, I will simply post my GISTs when I have time :-) I might also post more than 5.

Every day (or as close to that as possible) I will post a list of five (minimum) things that have graced my life, either on that day or at any time in my life.

1. Seeing Charlotte getting so much healthier and happier
2. Taco Tuesday at my parents' house
3. Snuggling with Patrick on cold mornings
4. Chappy and Centerville sleeping with us even though they stink

1. Going out with my little sister on Friday night
2. Watching Patrick play a gig again (I forgot how much I LOVE watching him play guitar)
3. Hanging out with Alex at Patrick's gig
4. Napping on Saturday afternoons
5. Getting work done on a Sunday night so Monday morning isn't so CRAZY
6. Orange juice with flaxseed oil
7. Golden Oreos
8. My new pink shoes (they're Jessica Simpson, but hey, whatever..."
9. Shake 'n Bake pork chops
10. Romanesco broccoli (looks like a space alien, but very tasty)
11. Making Patrick laugh
12. Snuggling with Patrick in the big green chair
13. The Bachelor (what other TV show can make me feel so much better about myself??)
14. FINALLY having my hair be long enough to wear in a ponytail (even though it's a little like Pebbles Flinstone)
15. Listening to the rain
16. Laughing at Jack (I know, always say this one...but it truly does grace my life every day)
17. My awesome coworkers
18. Ginger ale
19. My fireplace (albeit a gas furnace inside a fireplace)

1. Summer in January (yay San Francisco)
2. Being able to feel better about myself knowing that K-Fed might have knocked up yet another girl (at least I understand how babies are made!!)
3. The Robert Pattinson picture in my cube (I know, I'm like a teenager)
4. Having Jacky at work today
   
5. Jack behaving so well at work today

7. Being able to fill my car up for $15

10. Finding new quotes in the little calendar Kat gave me for Christmas
11. Figuring out it would probably be cheaper to get a MBA from University of Phoenix than to get a Management Certificate from University of Berkeley Extension

14. My decision to subscribe to Women's Health magazine (awesome mag)
15. Listening to my little sis tell me about her new idea for a project at work -- she's SO smart :-)

3. 40 degree weather in the dead of winter in IL
4. Seeing Olivia's face when she opened all her presents at the shower

6. Cherry 7-Up
7. Funny SuperBowl commercials
8. The Puppy Bowl on Animal Planet
9. The new hairspray I have that makes my hair very big
10. Passion fruit scent
11. Passion fruit juice
12. Marlene's homemade apple pie
13. Sitting next to my Phil Bear on the sofa (I LOVE HIM SO MUCH)
14. Only having 13 hours until I see my Jacky again!!!
15. Only having 13 hours until I see my BUNNY (aka Patrick) again ;-)
16. The fact that my dad still wears actual pajamas -- the matching pants and shirt combo (and with actual house shoes)
